Russell Dawson-Butterworth is a composer who has been writing music professionally for over 20 years. He has worked with clients including Sonoton Music Library, Sky TV, BBC, Granada TV, networked radio in a wide range of genres. He has had music released and performed worldwide.

Projects have included adverts, radio idents, documentary, drama, natural history and composition of music for dramatic musical presentations, as well as song writing for bands.

Working from his own studio in Peterborough, and also with affiliations with larger studios, he can offer finished product of either midi programmed scores or scores featuring real musicians to match almost any size of budget.

He is an established member of the PRS and MCPS, also the Society for Producers and Composers of Applied Music (PCAM) and the Musicians’ Union.
